Your shopping bag
The bag saves product selections, quantities, and personalization in this browser’s local storage so they remain available after a page refresh. Removing items or clearing this site’s browser storage removes that saved bag. Contact and shipping-address fields are not stored in the bag.
Saved favorites
Guest favorites stay in this browser’s local storage. While signed in, favorites are saved to your Cheherish account and can be viewed on your other devices. Use the heart again to remove a favorite. Guest favorites are not automatically copied into an account.
Optional buyer accounts
You can shop as a guest when checkout is available. If you create an account, Cheherish stores your verified email address, name, a protected password hash if you choose a password, saved favorites, and any shipping address you choose to save. Orders placed while signed in are linked to your account. Guest orders and Etsy orders are not automatically linked by email address.
Account verification and password recovery emails are sent through Cheherish’s configured email service. Sign-in options may include Google, Facebook, and Apple when enabled. Choosing a provider sends you to that provider; it shares the identity details you authorize, such as a stable identifier, email address and name. Cheherish does not receive your provider password or keep provider access tokens. The provider’s own privacy notice also applies.
Account cookies and security
Signing in sets an essential, HttpOnly session cookie. It expires after 30 days, or after 7 days without use. A separate 10-minute cookie is used to protect social sign-in. These cookies do not track advertising. Account pages use the session to keep your information private. Sign out on shared devices; your security page can sign out all devices. Password recovery revokes previous sessions. Rate-limit records use hashed network and email identifiers to protect account access.
Shipping quotes
Calculating shipping sends your checkout details to the store service. For a carrier quote, Cheherish shares only the origin and destination ZIP codes and package measurements with USPS. Requesting a quote does not reserve stock, create a payment, or purchase a shipping label. A temporary quote is kept in this page while you review your order.
Direct orders
When checkout is available, starting checkout sends your name, email address, shipping address, product selections, and personalization to the store service. Cheherish records this information with the order and its payment state to process the order, prepare your pieces, and help with order questions. Payment and shipping details needed for checkout are shared with Stripe.
In a clearly marked simulated or test environment, use fictional contact and address information. Test orders can be recorded in a test production queue.
Payment details
Card and other payment details are entered on Stripe’s hosted page. The Cheherish storefront does not collect or save card numbers. Stripe processes payment information according to Stripe’s privacy policy. The local simulator collects no card details and makes no charge. Do not send card numbers by email.
Private order links
An order confirmation link includes a private access token for that order. Anyone with the complete link can view its customer-safe summary, including purchased items and personalization. Keep the link private. The public summary does not display your email address or shipping address.
Images and fonts
Product photos and videos are hosted by Cheherish. The storefront may load fonts from Google Fonts. Those services receive the browser requests needed to display their resources.
Store messages
Messages are saved with your buyer account and the store you contact. Authorized store owners and fulfillment staff can read and reply. Conversations may include the item or order you selected. Archiving or moving a conversation to spam does not delete it. Messages are kept for customer support; contact us to request access or deletion. Do not include passwords, government IDs, or payment card details. Message attachments and email notifications are not currently available.
Store statistics
Cheherish counts opened store pages, item views, and signed-in favorite changes to help sellers understand their store. A random browser-visit identifier is held in session storage for 30 minutes; we store only short-lived keyed hashes for deduplication, not raw IP addresses or visitor identifiers. These hashes expire after two days. Daily aggregate counts have a 400-day retention window. Expired tracking records are removed as new activity is recorded. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for view tracking. Guest favorites are not included in seller statistics. Sellers see aggregate counts, not a list of people who viewed or favorited their products.

Purchases made through Etsy are handled through Etsy and the shop policies published there.
